So in case you didn't know - it's officially Spring Break season here in Clearwater, FL and the good news is the weather is beautiful - today it is 85 degrees and sunny in Pinellas County ~ pinch me!
Now for the challenge - Finding a place to park! Clearwater Beach continues to be in the throws of major real estate redevelopment and in this process we've lost lots of parking spaces on Clearwater beach so go early if you're going to park close to the beach - That's my best advice. This week, beginning today, may be even more crowded since the local children of the Pinellas County schools are home on Spring Break this week too!
I met this long time resident today that says at 95 years young he's found the perfect mode of transportation!
I'll share a secret from the Clearwater Beach seashell on possible little-known parking spots.....
PARKING TIP: If you head north on Mandalay and then turn west/left just past the Palm Pavilion, across from the park there in front of some beach condos and townhomes are a few little known spots with metered parking - it's an area mostly known only to local Clearwater beach condo and homeowners!
So enjoy the beautiful weather, local shops and resturants and bring lots of quarters for the parking meters or you'll have to go home sooner than you planned! Let me know about your plans this Spring Break week....

We wanted to go to the beach yesterday to stroll around with the little one... yesterday was supposed to be the busiest day in the calendar year for East Coast beaches thanks to:

Cyndee - A cool area with the best beach. How come everyone is not moving to Cleatwater? I bet its beautiful and how bout the young man with the bicycle, thats a really cool testimony that youth is a matter of the heart.
